(TB) 'Designing Woman' 1990, Gatty'Designing Woman' (Joseph Gatty, R. 1989). Seedling S25-1. TB, height 36" (91 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards french lilac (M&P 44-H-7 to 44-H-8); falls aster (44-F-7), paling to iris (43-B-5) and ageratum (43-C-3) faintly shaded buff (9-O-4) on hafts; salmon (10-A-7) to lilac white beard; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling O19-1: ('Pretty Lady' x ( 'Nefertiti' x 'Playgirl')) X 'Presence'. Keppel 1990.
